Five-time Grammy nominated and Platinum-selling artist, Hunter Hayes has released a new album, Evergreen, his first-full length album in three years.
Hayes recorded the album with Alex Flagstad. The record sees Hayes experimenting with elements of indie rock, R&B, folk and new sonic landscapes.
Hayes said the album was inspired by notes he wrote to himself from a future version of who he hoped to become.
"I wanted to make an imaginative album-not a reaction to the world around me, but rather a dream of the world I want to create," Hayes shared. "I want the music to feel like free therapy. Something that makes you feel better, more understood, more alive."
Hayes also shared an official visualizer for the title track, filmed at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens.
He is set to perform the record's title track on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on Monday (March 9).
