Asian Markets Tumble Amid Middle-east Conflict

Asian stock markets are tumbling on Monday, following the broadly negative cues from Wall Street on Friday, as traders remain cautious and concerned about the fallout of the intensifying conflict in the Middle East in to the tenth day . Israel intensified air strikes on Iran, while the U.S. said its attacks on Iran are going to "surge dramatically." Asian markets closed mixed on Friday.

Crude oil has skyrocketed over the past week as the U.S.-Iran conflict spreads across the Middle East and swelled outwards to Cyprus, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Azerbaijan, leading to concerns about a global energy crisis as well as the outlook for trade, prices and investment.
