AeroVironment Shares Fall 8% Following Wider Q3 Loss Report

AeroVironment, Inc. (AVAV) shares declined 8.08 percent to $203.66, down $17.91 on Wednesday, likely reacting to the company's yesterday reporting of third quarter results that showed a significant loss driven by impairment charges.

The company recorded a $151.31 million goodwill impairment charge, which significantly weighed on results. Revenue surged to $408.05 million from $167.64 million in the prior-year quarter. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $102.25 to $417.86.
