VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund H1 Net Profit Surges

VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Ltd. (VOF.L), an investment company, on Monday posted a surge in net income for the first half.

For the six-month period to December 31, 2025, the company registered a net income of $111.640 million, or $0.85 per share, higher than $25.824 million, or $0.17 per share, in the same period last year.

Profit before tax stood at $111.640 million as against the prior year's $25.824 million. Operating profit increased to $111.640 million from $25.824 million a year ago. Net gain on financial assets at FVTPL was $35.733 million, compared with a loss of $19.894 million last year. dividend income moved up to $96.857 million from the previous year's $60.334 million.

Net asset value per share was $7.97 as of December 31, 2025, compared with $7.13 per share, recorded on June 30, 2025. Total assets were $1.060 billion as of December 31, 2025, compared with $965.992 million, recorded on June 30, 2025.

The Board will pay a half yearly dividend of 7.25 cents per share on May 6.
