Platinum-selling rock band The Pretty Reckless have announced they will release a new album, Dear God this year. The band also announced a headlining world tour in support of the new record.
A new single, "When I Wake Up," also arrived via Fearless Records on the same day. The upcoming album will also feature "For I Am Death," which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart last November.
Speaking about "When I Wake Up" and the upcoming album, frontwoman Taylor Momsen said, "'When I Wake Up' is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare. When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can't see it. It's a good time…"
The band's headlining "Dear God Tour" is set to kick off in North America. After stops in several places, including New Orleans, Dallas, and Los Angeles, the tour will wrap in Europe.
Dear God, which is the band's fifth studio album, is the follow-up to 2021's Death by Rock and Roll.
