YIT Oyj Names Erkka Repo New CFO; To Leave Aspo Group CFO Role By Sept 2026

YIT Oyj (YITYY,YIT.HE) Tuesday said that it has appointed Erkka Repo as Chief Financial Officer or CFO and a member of its Group Leadership Team, effective by September this year. According to the Finnish construction company, Markus Pietikäinen will continue as the interim CFO until Repo assumes the role.

The company said that Erkka Repo has more than 25 years experience across finance, treasury, strategy, and large-scale transformation programs.

Currently serving as CFO of Aspo Group Plc (ASPO.HE), Repo oversees finance, treasury, and IT functions. Repo, who has been Aspo's CFO since 2024 and a member of its Group Executive Committee, will step down from his position at the latest by September to assume his new role.

Commenting on his appointment, Heikki Vuorenmaa, President and CEO, YIT Oyj, said, "Erkka brings to YIT a strong combination of financial leadership expertise, strategic insight and experience in implementing major transformation programs. His work in leading large entities, executing corporate transactions, and building profitable growth will strongly support YIT's renewal and the execution of our strategy. I am very pleased to welcome Erkka to our Leadership Team."

On the Helsinki Exchange, YIT.HE ended Monday's trading at 2.6040 euros, down 1.3 percent.
