U Power Limited (UCAR) shares surged 112.53 percent to $0.9432, gaining $0.4994 on Tuesday, after the company announced completion of production for its first batch of battery-swapping electric heavy-duty trucks for the Thailand market.
The stock is currently trading at $0.9432 compared with its previous close of $0.4438. Shares opened at $0.7506 and traded between $0.6800 and $1.7500 during the session on the Nasdaq. Trading volume reached about 157.55 million shares, far above the average volume of about 55,850 shares.
U Power said 30 battery-swapping electric heavy-duty trucks have completed production and are scheduled for delivery in late May 2026 for pilot deployment in Thailand. The rollout is part of a broader partnership with Whale Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., under which up to 1,000 battery-swapping heavy trucks are planned for deployment over the next three years.
