China Everbright Greentech Turns To Profit In FY25, Despite Weak Revenues, Lifts Dividend; Stock Up

China Everbright Greentech Ltd. (CK7.F,1257.HK) reported Wednesday a turnaround to profit in fiscal 2025, despite weak revenues. Further, the firm lifted annual dividend significantly.

In Hong Kong, the shares were gaining around 3.6 percent, trading at HK$0.870.

In the year, the profit attributable to equity shareholders was HK$113.11 million, compared to prior year's loss of HK$415.38 million.

Earnings per share were 5.47 HK cents, compared to loss of 20.10 HK cents a year ago.

Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation or EBITDA increased 62% to HK$1.61 billion from HK$994.15 million last year.

Revenue, meanwhile, decreased 4% to HK$6.73 billion from last year's HK$6.98 billion.

Further, the Board has recommended a final dividend of HK2.8 cents per share for the year 2025 to the shareholders, while no final dividend was paid last year. Total dividends for the year increased by 300% to HK5.6 cents from HK1.4 cents per share a year ago.
