Rap icon Lil Wayne has added more dates to his North American tour due to overwhelming demand from fans.
The five-time Grammy Award winner's tour is in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his Tha Carter album series. Lil Wayne has released six albums in the series, beginning in 2004. Tha Carter VI arrived last year.
Lil Wayne will be supported by multi-platinum star 2 Chainz on a majority of the dates. The Game will be onstage on select dates.
The Live Nation-promoted tour is set to kick off on Tuesday, June 30th, at Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Main. The tour will have stops in several cities across the U.S., including Chicago, Long Beach, Denver, Nashville, and more.
The final show of the tour is scheduled to take place at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, on October 23rd.
