Delaware-based biotechnology company Zymeworks Inc. (ZYME) Wednesday announced the appointment of Kristin Stafford as Chief Financial Officer.
Shares of Zymeworks are gaining 0.66 points or 2.64 percent in the pre-market session. Meanwhile ZYME had closed at 25.04, up 0.83 points or 3.43 percent on Tuesday.
On Monday, the company focused on developing biotherapeutics for cancer, inflammation autoimmune diseases had received FDA's fast track designation for ZW191 an antibody drug conjugate targeting folate receptor-a for the treatment of advanced or metastatic platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.
Kristin has deep experience across the life sciences industry and recently served as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer for Royalty Pharma plc, since December 2018.
