Nissan Group Q1 U.S. Sales Down 7.5%

Nissan Group announced total U.S. first quarter sales for 2026 of 247,068 units, a decrease of 7.5% versus the prior year, while retail sales increased 9.6%, supported by a disciplined strategy, increasing sales of U.S.-built vehicles.

Total car sales for the quarter were 69,813 units, down 37.7% from 112,078 units in the prior period. But total truck sales were 177,255 units, a 14.4% year-over-year increase from 155,007 units in the prior period.
