Nordex Group (NRDXF.PK,NDX1.DE) Thursday said that it has secured a 39.9 MW order from NeXtWind Management GmbH in Germany. The contract is part of the Lütau 2 repowering project located in the Duchy of Lauenburg district, Schleswig-Holstein.

Under the agreement, the German wind turbine manufacturer will deliver seven N149/5.X wind turbines, each mounted on 125-meter tubular steel towers. The deal also includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement for turbine maintenance, the company said in an official statement.

Nordex Group said that the installation is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with commissioning expected by summer 2027. This phase will expand the existing Lütau 1 wind farm, which has been operational since 2025 and currently comprises five N149/5.X turbines. Once the additional seven units are installed, the site's total capacity will increase to 68.4 MW, the company added.

On the OTC Markets, NRDXF.PK ended Wednesday's trading at $51.80.
