Nordex Secures 120 MW Turkey Wind Turbine Order

Nordex SE (NDX1.DE, NRDXF, NRXXY), a manufacturer of multi-megawatt onshore wind turbines, on Thursday announced it has secured a 120 MW wind turbine order in Turkey from Balkesir Elektrik Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim ve Satis A.S., a subsidiary of Efor Yatirim Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Sirketi (EFOR.IS).

The contract includes the supply and installation of 18 N175/6.X wind turbines for the R25-Balkesir-2 wind power plant.

The company will also provide premium service for a period of 10 years.

The turbines will be installed near Balikesir, with delivery scheduled to begin in March 2027 and commissioning expected by August 2027.

The project marks the third collaboration between Nordex and Efor Holding and supports Turkey's renewable energy expansion under the YEKA framework.

Efor is currently trading 3.98% lesser at TRY 8.68 on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.

Nordex is currently trading 2.05% lesser at EUR 43.96 on the XETRA.
