Skanska Sells 50% Stake In I-4 Ultimate Project For $75 Mln

Skanska AB (SKA-B.ST, SKSBF, SKBSY), a Swedish construction and development company, on Thursday announced it has divested its entire 50% stake in I-4 Mobility Partners HoldCo LLC for approximately $75 million or about SEK 690 million.

The stake was sold to existing partner John Laing Group, and the transaction has been completed following required approvals.

The divestment will be recorded in the second quarter of 2026 under the Central stream.

I-4 Mobility Partners is responsible for the development and operation of the I-4 Ultimate highway project in Orlando, Florida, part of a public-private partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation.

The project involved the reconstruction and expansion of a 34-kilometre stretch of Interstate 4, including express lanes, interchanges, and over 140 bridges, aimed at improving traffic flow and safety.

Skanska AB is currently trading 2.38% lesser at SEK 237.50 on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
