CGI Inc. (GIB-A.TO) on Thursday announced a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption, strengthen cloud security and drive digital transformation across the U.S. public sector.

Under the agreement, CGI will deliver scalable, mission-critical solutions designed to address complex government challenges, combining its public sector expertise with AWS's cloud and AI capabilities.

The collaboration will focus on enabling trusted AI adoption across areas such as analytics, fraud prevention and operational decision-making, while also strengthening Zero Trust cybersecurity frameworks to better protect sensitive government systems and data.

It will also aim to unlock greater value from government data by improving interoperability and accessibility, enhance citizen-focused digital services, and support the modernization of legacy systems through secure cloud-based platforms.

The companies said the partnership will include investments in cloud and AI training and certification programs to expand CGI's technical capabilities in delivering public sector solutions.

CGI added that the agreement builds on its existing AWS partnership and complements its broader network of global technology alliances, positioning the company to support clients across the full lifecycle of AI adoption and cloud transformation.
