Lundin Gold Enters Silver Stream Deal With LunR Royalties

Lundin Gold Inc. (LUGDF,LUG.TO), a Canadian mining company, on Friday announced that it has entered into a definitive silver stream agreement with a Canada-based mining royalty and streaming company, LunR Royalties Corp. (LUNR.V, LNRCF) for its Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.

Under the terms, LunR will acquire a life-of-mine silver stream in exchange for 50,505,051 LunR common shares.

Upon closing, Lundin Gold intends to distribute the LunR shares to its shareholders as a dividend in kind and will not retain any ownership interest in LunR.

On Thursday, Lundin Gold is 1.28% higher at CAD 111.41 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

On Thursday, LunR Royalties is 0.07% higher at CAD 29.92 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
