Tallink March, Q1 Passengers & Cargo Units Climb

AS Tallink grupp (T5N.F), an Estonian provider of leisure and business travel and sea transportation services, on Monday reported higher passenger numbers and cargo units in the month of March and the first quarter. Passenger vehicles declined in the month, while it grew in the quarter.

In March 2026, the company transported 333,585 passengers, representing a 3.4 percent increase compared to 322,717 passengers last year. The number of cargo units increased 12.8 percent to 23,390 from 20,737 in the previous year.

Meanwhile, the number of passenger vehicles decreased 2 percent to 46,834 vehicles from 47,776 in the prior year.

In the first quarter 2026, the company transported 1.04 million passengers, a 6.8 percent increase compared to 0.97 million passengers last year.

The number of transported cargo units grew 13.4 percent to 65,578 units from 57,830 units a year before.

For the same quarter, the number of passenger vehicles increased 1.2 percent to 137,479 vehicles from 135,829 vehicles a year ago.

On the Frankfurt stock exchange, AS Tallink shares traded 0.34 percent lower on Thursday, at 0.5890 euro.
