Vistry Group PLC (VTY.L, BVHMF, BVHMY), a UK housebuilding company, on Monday announced that Greg Fitzgerald has stepped down as Executive Chair, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director with immediate effect by mutual agreement.

The company has appointed Adam Daniels as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director with immediate effect as his successor.

Greg Fitzgerald will remain available to support transition arrangements and provide advice as required.

Rob Woodward has assumed the role of Chair, while Rowan Baker has been appointed Senior Independent Director, both with immediate effect.

Adam Daniels currently serves as Executive Chair of one of Vistry's largest operating divisions and is a member of the Group's Executive Leadership Team.

Daniels brings experience in partnerships, affordable housing and housebuilding.

The company said the leadership transition comes as the company focuses on improving cash generation, increasing open market sales and reducing inventory levels during 2026.

The appointment follows a multi-year CEO succession and development process led by the Nomination Committee, which considered both internal and external candidates.

On Friday, Vistry Group closed trading 0.64% lesser at GBp 339.80 on the London Stock Exchange.
