Grammy-winning, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Olivia Rodrigo recently released a new song "drop dead" from her upcoming third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
"Drop Dead" arrived along with a stunning music video shot at the iconic Palace of Versailles. The video, directed by Petra Collins, follows Rodrigo as she runs through the palace's opulent halls, capturing the manic exuberance of a budding new romance.
Ahead of the release, Rodrigo shared videos on social media teasing the song. "I hope you never finish that beer," she wrote over a video of herself sipping a Guinness, paired with a wispy, buoyant snippet of the single.
Another clip showed her gazing out the window of a moving train. "it's feminine intuition," reads pink text over the video.
You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, featuring 13 tracks in all, is due out on June 12th. The record is Rodrigo's first full-length album since 2023's Billboard 200-topper Guts.
Rodrigo debuted "drop dead" live during a surprise appearance during Addison Rae's Coachella set last weekend.
