NH Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. (005940.KS), a financial services firm, on Thursday reported strong first-quarter results, with significant growth in revenue and earnings compared with the same period last year.
Net income from continuing operations before income tax rose to 650.091 billion won from 276.758 billion won, marking a sharp year-on-year increase of 134.90%.
Operating profit climbed to 636.689 billion won from 289.044 billion won, up 120.27% from a year earlier.
Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company increased 128.44% to 475.680 billion won from 208.228 billion won last year.
Sales rose 165.08% to 8.8977 trillion won from 3.3566 trillion won a year ago.
