Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Stock Soars 44% Over $100 Mln Deal To Sell Branded Drugs To Apotex

Shares of Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CPIX) are rising about 44 percent during Thursday morning trading following the company's agreement with an affiliate of Apotex to integrate their branded U.S. businesses.

The company's shares are currently trading at $4.4001 on the Nasdaq, up 44.29 percent. The stock opened at $5.75 and has climbed as high as $6.0399 so far in today's session. Over the past year, it has traded in a range of $1.8500 to $6.2700.
