Südzucker AG (SUEZF.PK, SZUG.DE), a sugar producer, reported lower EBITDA and revenue for fiscal 2026, mainly due to a challenging market environment in the sugar segment.
Further, the company confirmed its forecast for fiscal 2027 amid the ongoing geopolitical and global economic uncertainty.
For the fiscal 2026, operating profit was 163 million euros versus 350 million euros last year.
Group EBITDA totaled 535 million euros, compared to 723 million euros a year earlier.
For the year, extraordinary impairment losses came in at 470 million euros.
Annual revenues declined to 8.4 billion euros from 9.7 billion euros in the prior year.
Looking ahead to the fiscal 2027, Südzucker continues to expect revenues slightly below the fiscal 2026 level, with EBITDA projected between 480 million euros and 680 million euros.
The midpoint of the EBITDA range is forecasted to be moderately above the fiscal 2026.

On the XETRA in Germany, Südzucker shares were gaining around 1.7 percent, trading at 11.72 euros.
