Eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Kacey Musgraves has announced three shows at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas, with The Mariachi Brothers, who were detained by ICE agents during their immigration crackdown.

The Mariachi Brothers will open for Musgraves on three consecutive nights beginning May 3 at Gruene Hall to promote her upcoming studio album, Middle of Nowhere, which is set for release on Friday, May 1.

The Mariachi Brothers, consisting of Antonio, Caleb and Joshua Gámez-Cuéllar, along with their parents, were arrested on February 25 in Edinburg. They were released from custody on March 9.

The siblings, all below 18, performed at a congressional event at the White House in 2025.

In June last year, Musgraves criticized U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers wearing face masks.

"If protesters can't wear masks ICE shouldn't be able to either," the Country music star from Texas said in a statement posted on X.
