LG Energy Solution, Ltd. (373220.KS) reported a loss for the first quarter, and a decline in revenue year on year.
The company posted net income from continuing operation before income tax of 858.6 billion won, compared with a profit of 364.5 billion won in the same period last year.
Operating loss was 207.800 billion won, versus a profit of 374.7 billion won a year earlier.
Net loss was 944 billion won, compared with a profit of 226.6 billion won in the prior-year period.
Sales declined to 6.555 trillion won from 6.722.700 trillion won a year earlier.
