Hyundai Autoever Corporation (307950.KS) on Thursday reported a decline in first-quarter profit, despite higher sales compared with last year.
Net income from continuing operations before income tax fell to 24.987 billion won from 28.190 billion won a year ago.
Operating income dropped 20.7% to 21.175 billion won from 26.710 billion won.
Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company decreased to 17.904 billion won from 19.588 billion won.
Sales, however, rose 12.3% to 935.709 billion won from 833.010 billion won last year.
