NIO Inc. (NIO,NIO.SI,9866.HK), a Chinese electric vehicle company, Friday released its April 2026 delivery results, selling 29,356 vehicles during the month, a 22.8 percent increase from the same month last year.
These included 19,024 vehicles from its smart electric vehicle brand NIO, 5,352 from its family brand ONVO, and 4,980 from its small high-end brand FIREFLY, the company added.
As of April 30, NIO said that its cumulative deliveries touched 1,110,413 vehicles.
The company said that on April 23, its all-new ES8 reached 100,000 cumulative deliveries within 215 days. Earlier in the month, on April 9, NIO officially commenced pre-sales of its flagship executive SUV, the ES9. Later, on April 28, ONVO also began pre-sales of its flagship large five-seat SUV, the L80, thus expanding the company's product lineup across different market segments.
On the NYSE, NIO ended Thursday's trading at $6.39. In overnight trading, the stock fell 2.8 percent to $6.21.
