While reporting financial results for the first quarter on Friday, Wabash National Corp. (WNC) said it expects adjusted loss for the second quarter in a range of $0.40 to $0.60 per share on revenues between $380 million and $400 million.
For the first quarter, the company reported a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $45.17 million or $1.11 per share, compared to net income of $230.94 million or $5.36 per share in the prior-year quarter.
Net sales for the quarter declined 20.4 percent to $303.23 million from $380.89 million in the same quarter last year.
In Friday's pre-market trading, WNC is trading on the NYSE at $8.36, down $0.33 or 3.82 percent.
