Afrobeats superstar Ayra Starr recently dropped a remix of her global hit single, "Where Do We Go," featuring superstar DJ and style icon Peggy Gou.
Speaking about about the track, Ayra said, "I'm so happy to have worked with Peggy on this remix of my single 'Where Do We Go.' She's so cool, her music is such a vibe, and I loved the idea of bringing our different sonic worlds together. Hope you love it!"
"Ayra's 'Where Do We Go' title felt instant to me, it's something we all say in everyday life, in those spontaneous moments. Ayra has a unique voice, it brings a real emotion to the record. I wanted the remix to feel as sexy as the original, reflecting that same energy, so I built it around my signature bass line as always using the Jupiter-6, to bring our worlds together" says Peggy.
Earlier this month, Ayra made her daytime television debut with a special guest appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," where she announced her new album will arrive this summer, and captivated audiences with a performance of "Where Do We Go."
"Where Do We Go" has earned over 1.3 billion streams worldwide since its release, with Ayra blending her undeniable "It girl" energy with a vibrant, upbeat Afropop for the perfect danceable anthem.
