Westpac Banking Corp (WBK) reported earnings for its first half that Increased, from last year

The company's bottom line totaled A$3.414 billion, or A$0.995 per share. This compares with A$3.317 billion, or A$0.96 per share, last year.

The company's revenue for the period fell 6.3% to A$26.309 billion from A$28.084 billion last year.
