Hanwha Corporation (00088K.KS) on Wednesday reported improved first-quarter profit, despite a decline in revenue.
Net income from continuing operation before income tax rose to 102.898 billion won from 91.105 billion won a year ago.
Operating profit increased to 189.490 billion won from 151.817 billion won last year.
Net income climbed to 107.027 billion won from 85.864 billion won a year earlier.
Sales declined 4.04% to 1.0579 trillion won from 1.1024 trillion won in the same period last year.
