The Malaysia stock market has finished higher in four straight sessions, advancing more than 35 points or 2.1 percent along the way. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,755-point plateau and it's expected to open to the upside again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is positive on hopes for an end to hostilities in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were sharply higher and the Asian bourses are expected to follow that lead.
