HTC Corporation (2498.TW,HTCCY), a Taiwanese consumer electronics company, on Thursday posted a net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2026.
For the three-month period to March 31, the company recorded a net loss of NT$241.674 million, or NT$0.29 per share, compared with a profit of NT$4.054 billion, or NT$4.82 per share in the same period last year.
Other gains and losses were positive NT$172.058 million, less than positive NT$7.081 billion in 2025.
Operating loss was NT$562.777 million as against a loss of NT$1.144 billion a year ago. Operating revenue was NT$652.623 million, less than the NT$708.312 million in the previous year.
