IP Group Plc (IPO.L) Thursday revealed the appointment of Michael Queen as Non-executive Director and Chair Designate. The private equity and venture capital company said that the appointment is the conclusion of the chair succession process, which was announced a year ago.
According to IP Group, Queen will take over from Douglas Flint as Chair of the Board following the Annual General Meeting on June 18, 2026 when Douglas Flint will retire from the Board after being at the helm for more than eight years.
The company said that Queen was earlier Michael, who was earlier Chief Executive of 3i Group plc, from where he retired in 2012, after serving 25 years. At present, he is Chair of Coller Capital Ltd, a UK-based international private equity group, and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Surrey.
On the LSE, IPO.L is trading up 0.31 percent on Thursday at 64.20 pence.
