Loomis AB (LOOMIS.ST), a Swedish cash handling company, Thursday said that its net income rose in the first quarter, helped by good performances in segment USA and segment Europe. Revenue, however, declined 2.3 percent.
The company reported first quarter net income of 530 million Swedish Kroner or 7.88 Kroner per share, higher than last year's 382 million Kroner or 5.56 Kroner per share. Pre-tax income rose to 757 million Kroner from 531 million Kroner in the prior-year quarter.
According to Loomis AB, operating income or EBIT climbed to 896 million Kroner in the first quarter from 706 million Kroner in the year-ago period.
Quarterly revenue, however, declined to 7.49 billion Kroner from 7.67 billion Kroner in the corresponding period of 2025.
On the Stockholm Exchange, LOOMIS.ST is currently trading up 0.09 percent on Thursday at 447.80 Swedish Kroner.
