Bytes Technology Group PLC [BYIT.L, BYI.JO], a UK-based IT solutions and software reseller, on Tuesday announced that it has decided to split the combined Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles currently held by Andrew Holden.

Accordingly, Andrew will step down from the role of finance chief.

The company said the change follows an assessment of roles needed to support its next phase of growth.

Holden joined Bytes as COO on June 1, 2021, from Altron Limited, the JSE-listed technology group from which Bytes was demerged in 2020.

He became acting CFO in September 2021 following the retirement of Former CFO Keith Richardson, and was appointed permanent CFO on October 21, 2021, combining both roles.

Holden will remain with the Company as COO after stepping down from the CFO position once a replacement is appointed, the company said in a statement.

The company has started a search for a new CFO.
