Wickes Q1 Group Revenue Up 1.3%; Sees FY26 Adj. PBT In Line With View; Stock Down 11%

Wickes Group Plc (WIX.L) Tuesday said in its trading update for the first quarter ended April 25 that group revenue grew 1.3 percent during the period, helped by improved volume growth in Design & Installation and TradePro.

On the LSE, WIX.L is down 10.8 percent on Tuesday's trading at 181.00 pence.

During the first quarter, group revenue touched 597 million pounds, while on a like-for-like basis, revenue fell 0.1 percent.

The UK home improvement company said that retail revenues were down 0.4 percent from last year to touch 392 million pounds, as a result of outdoor projects being impacted by rainy conditions.

In the Design and Installation segment, revenue climbed 6.4 percent to 145 million pounds while LFL revenue growth was 4.3 percent.

Looking ahead, the company said that it is in line with fiscal 2026 market expectations of adjusted profit before tax of a mean of 57.1 million pounds, with a range between 54.0 million pounds and 59.4 million pounds.
