HMM Co., Ltd (011200.KS), a container shipping and logistics company, Wednesday said that its net profit declined 52 percent to KRW 354 billion in the first quarter from KRW 740 billion in the same period last year. The revenue declined 4.8 percent to KRW 2.72 trillion from KRW 2.86 trillion in the year-ago quarter.
The company said that the operating profit for the three months fell 56 percent to KRW 270 billion from KRW 614 billion in the prior-year quarter.
On the KSE, 011200.KS ended Wednesday's trading at KRW 19,830.00, up 0.15 percent.
