Breaking Benjamin have returned with a new single, "Something Wicked," teasing their first full studio album in eight years.
While Breaking Benjamin released Aurora in 2020, the album largely featured reimagined versions of songs from the band's catalog. Their last full-length collection of original material was 2018's Ember.
Frontman Benjamin Burnley said, "'Something Wicked' is a quick look into our influences both musically and thematically. We challenged ourselves especially hard on this record and on this song. We pushed every boundary we've previously had as far as it will go, then pushed a little more. 'Something Wicked' was the result."
Breaking Benjamin recently debuted the song at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. The track follows the stand-alone 2024 single "Awaken."
