Primus have surprise-released a new four-song EP titled A Handful of Nuggs that includes the brand-new single "The Ol' Grizz."
The EP is available now digitally, with a special-edition 12-inch vinyl release arriving July 22nd via ATO Records.
A Handful of Nuggs arrived ahead of the previously announced "Claypool Gold Tour," a bill including the three Les Claypool-led projects Primus, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, and Fearless Flying Frog Brigade. The trek kicked off May 20th in Reno, Nevada.
Primus released their last studio album in 2017, The Desaturating Seven, although they did release new songs on 2022's Conspiranoid EP and 2024's Sessanta E.P.P.P.
