The Pretty Reckless recently released the title track of their upcoming fifth studio album, Dear God, due out June 26, 2026.
Dear God, a follow-up to 2021's Death By Rock And Roll, features 14 songs.
"Dear God, can you lift me up, can you take me higher / Dear God, can you lift me up, keep me from a fire," frontwoman Taylor Momsen sings in the chorus.
Momsen says of the song, "'Dear God' is desperation set to music. When life gets that physical, that brutal, you leave your body and start begging something bigger than yourself to pull you out. That space between heaven and hell isn't a metaphor. It's somewhere you actually live."
"Dear God" is the fourth single from the album, following "Love Me," "When I Wake Up" and the lead single "For I Am Death."
