The upcoming "One Philly: Unity Concert For America," scheduled to take place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia on July 4th, will feature performances from Christina Aguilera, Will Smith, The Roots and several other top artists.
DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jill Scott, Seal, State Property, Kathy Sledge and Infinity Song are also part of the star-studded lineup named for the six-hour live concert.
The event, to be hosted by Wanda Sykes, will mark the celebration of America's 250th anniversary and Philadelphia's legacy. Gillie Da King and Wallo267 are also set to appear at the free concert, which is open to public.
"Our Fourth of July concert is a historic homecoming for many of our City's brightest stars," Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker said. "By uniting the vision of our Mayor's office and so many other city leaders, the global broadcast and production of Scott Mirkin, and the unmatched musical legacy of The Roots and Live Nation Urban, the One Philly Unity Concert For America will celebrate the soul of Philadelphia and the spirit of our nation on a truly global scale. There is no place to be other than Philly on July 4th!"
