The Taiwan stock market has finished higher in two straight sessions, surging more than 1,700 points or 3.6 percent along the way. Now at a fresh record closing high, the Taiwan Stock Exchange sits just beneath the 45,340-point plateau and it's tipped to open in the green again on Tuesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets suggests mild upside on support from the technology shares. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were up and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.
