German insurer Allianz SE (ALIZY) is exploring acquisition of Portuguese insurance company Caravela Seguros, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the report, Allianz has submitted a proposal for Caravela and is currently engaged in negotiations with the insurer's shareholders regarding a potential transaction.
