Clarkson PLC (CKN.L), a provider of integrated shipping services, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Niamh Staunton as the new Chief Financial Officer or CFO, following a comprehensive selection process by its Nomination Committee.

The company said that Staunton joins from BP Plc, where she has served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Risk for the Supply, Trading & Shipping business for the past two and a half years. Before that, she was Group Treasurer at BP, a role she took on in 2021.

Clarkson Plc said that she will assume her post later this year and will also be appointed as an Executive Director of the company. Further details will be provided once her start date is confirmed, it added.

The company said that Staunton will succeed Jeff Woyda, who is set to retire from the Board and his role as CFO & COO in September 2026 after 19 years of service, as previously announced.

Separately, Harriet Oliver, who has served as the Group Head of Human Resources since October 2019 and has been a key member of the senior management team, was confirmed as the incoming Chief Operating Officer or COO in May 2026.

On the LSE, CKN.L ended Tuesday's trading at 4,664.00 pence, down 0.77 percent.
