The company's earnings came in at GBP33.4 million, or GBP0.152 per share. This compares with GBP79.3 million, or GBP0.361 per share, last year.
Excluding items, Safestore Holdings plc reported adjusted earnings of GBP42.7 million or GBP0.194 per share for the period.
The company's revenue for the period rose 6.9% to GBP120.6 million from GBP112.8 million last year.
