Caledonia Investments Plc (CLDN.L) on Wednesday announced an agreement to invest approximately 60 million pounds in Blue Diamond Ltd., the UK and Channel Islands' garden centre operator.
The transaction is expected to close in early July.
The investment includes 40 million pounds to support Blue Diamond's future growth initiatives and up to 20 million pounds to provide shareholder liquidity.
Following completion, the company will hold a fully diluted minority stake of approximately 16% in Blue Diamond.
The companies have also agreed a framework that could provide Blue Diamond with up to 40 million pounds of additional capital over the next five years to support acquisitions, investments in existing garden centres and shareholder liquidity.
Blue Diamond operates 54 garden centres across the UK and Channel Islands. The company generated revenue of about 395 million pounds and EBITDA of about 47 million pounds in 2025.
On Tuesday, Caledonia Investments closed trading at GBp 355 on the London Stock Exchange.
