Mountview Estates FY26 Profit Falls, But Dividend Held Steady

Residential property trader Mountview Estates Plc. (MTVW.L) Thursday said the annual profit fell, but it kept its total dividend unchanged for the year ended March 31, despite a difficult UK housing market.

For the fiscal 2026, Profit fell 13.4 percent to 27.15 million pounds from 31.30 million pounds a year earlier.

Earnings per share declined 13.3 percent to 522.1 pence from 602.5 pence last year.

Annual Revenue edged down 0.4 percent to 71.8 million pounds from 72.1 million pounds in the prior year, with cost of sales rising by more than 11 percent.

The property company proposed a final dividend of 275 pence per share, taking the total dividend to 525 pence, unchanged from last year. The final dividend will go ex-dividend on July 9, with a record date of July 10 and payment on August 17, subject to approval at the AGM on August 12.

On the LSE, shares of Mountview were gaining 0.34 percent, changing hands at 8,930.00 pence.
