Danish space and defence systems supplier Rovsing A/S (ROV.CO) announced on Friday that it has appointed Lars Almstok Gregersen as chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2026.

Gregersen succeeds Hjalti Pall Thorvardarson, who resigned as CEO at the end of May to pursue opportunities outside the Space and Defence sector. Rovsing first announced Thorvardarson's departure on March 9.

Chief Financial Officer Sigurd Hundrup, who has been serving as interim CEO since June 1, will continue in the role until Gregersen takes over, the company said in a statement.

The Copenhagen-based Rovsing said Gregersen joins from Flux A/S, where he serves as chief operating officer. He brings experience in sales, business development, operations and quality assurance in the space and defence industry.
