Getty Images Secures Display Deal With OpenAI For ChatGPT Integration; Shares Climb

Getty Images Holdings, Inc. (GETY), an online website for stock images, announced that it has entered into a display agreement with artificial intelligence firm OpenAI. As per the multi-year deal, Getty Images' licensed content libraries would appear across OpenAI search and discovery experiences within ChatGPT.

In the overnight activity on the NYSE, the shares were trading 24.95 percent higher at $0.7561, after closing Thursday's regular trading 1.34 percent higher.

The agreement will enable Getty images' content to be displayed within ChatGPT, leading to rich visual responses.

Craig Peters, Chief Executive Officer at Getty Images, stated, "High-quality licensed visual content makes AI-powered search and discovery more useful and more trustworthy. This partnership with OpenAI reflects a shared recognition of that, and together we will deliver richer visual experiences to ChatGPT users."
