Mitie Group plc (MTO.L), a facilities management company, Tuesday in its trading update for the first quarter, reported higher revenue compared to the same period last year.
Quarterly revenue increased 10 percent to £1,406 million from £1,282 million of prior year.
This includes 4 percent organic growth driven by new wins, projects growth and pricing. M&A contributed a further 6 percent of inorganic growth, primarily driven by the prior year acquisition of Marlowe.
Contract wins and extensions/renewals climbed up 33 percent to £1.6 billion TCV from £1.2 billion of previous year. This reflects growth in FM services and widening capabilities in transformational projects and compliance.
On Monday, shares closed at 151 pence on the London Stock Exchange.
